Rhythmic gymnastics is a female sport which combines dance, music, and the utilization of the five apparatus' of competition: rope, hoop, ball, clubs, and ribbon. It can be done in groups or individually.

At the recreational level, this discipline can be begun at the age of 5 years, and beginning at 7 years of age, the competition groups begin.

The Club Boca Juniors is affiliated with the Metropolitan Federation of Gymnastics and participates in all of the official tournaments as well as the friendly tournaments.
