Procedure for media accreditation for matches at the Club Atletico Boca Juniors.

LOCAL MEDIA

1. To be able to be accredited for the games disputed in the stadium Alberto J. Armando (La Bombonera), the media of the City of Buenos Aires and greater Buenos Aires must complete a form prior to the match, which they can pick up in the Department of Press from Monday to Friday, 1:30 pm to 8:00 pm.

Additionally, you must attach the material solicited below, according to the type of media:

RADIO OR TV PROGRAMS

Only legal stations will be accredited, without exception. For your record, you must submit a photocopy of the note that certifies the awarding of the license of the station by the COMFER, or when appropriate, the “Permiso Precario Provisorio” (PPP).

Additionally, you must present a signed note by the director of the station stating that the program is emitted through that medium.

A CD or video, as appropriate, with recording of the final program broadcast must also be submitted.

NEWSPAPERS AND MAGAZINES

Must present the last three published issues.

MEDIA FROM THE INTERIOR OF THE COUNTRY AND FORIEGN MEDIA

Those media that for reasons of distance are unable to withdraw the form mentioned above must directly proceed with step 2.

Graphic medias must present the last three published issues and at least three signed articles by the journalists seeking accreditation.

Foreign radio stations that wish to request a telephone line should refer to a telephone company of their country of origin.

INTERNET AND OTHER ELECTRONIC MEDIA

Due to limited availability in the press boxes, electronic media cannot be accredited.

FREE-LANCE JOURNALISTS

The policy of Boca Juniors is to accredit media and not individual journalists. Therefore free-lance journalists cannot be accredited.

To be accredited, journalists must have a credential certifying that the medium as such.

2. Once you have completed the requisites mentioned above and presented all of the required documentation, in order to solicit accreditation you must send a fax (requests sent through email will be rejected) for each match with sufficient notice, within the deadline set by this department, without exception (see hours of operation below).

The note must count, on the letterhead of the medium, the number of credentials being solicited, the name, last name, and function of each of the persons wishing to be accredited, and must be signed by an officer. Additionally, the note must include the telephone number of an officer or producer in order so that you may be contacted if necessary.

It is recommended that you call in order to confirm the arrival of the fax.

The Department of Press will not accept any claims that have been received by the fax outside of the hours listed below.

NOTA: Just sending the fax does not signify automatic accreditation.

  • The credentials of media are given only for official affairs and for the individuals doing the work; spouses, friends, and/or children are not permitted to access media facilities.
  • The accreditations related to the Club Atletico Boca Juniors are recognized as official documents of this institution, therefore their misuse or lending will result in temporary or indefinite suspension of that media.
  • Both the field and zona mixta are considered areas of work. For that reason requesting autographs, garments, as well as taking photographs with the players or other professional staff members is strictly prohibited.

TRAINING COVERAGE

For training coverage, journalists must present their credential issued by the Department of Press to the security personnel of the club, as well as the accreditation of the media to which they belong.
