As a preparation for the debut in the Apertura tournament Carlos Ischia's team played a friendly against Tigre in the Bombonera.
The game was played behind closed doors and was made up of two 35 minute periods. The end result was 1-1. Matías Giménez gave Tigre the minimum edge and Martín Palermo scored the equalizer by means of a penalty shot.
Carlos Ischia's regular team lined up as follows: Caranta, Calvo, Cáceres, Paletta, Morel Rodríguez, Vargas, Battaglia, Dátolo, Chávez; Castroman and Palermo.
Boca's goal : Martín Palermo (a penalty shot ).
Tigre's players were : Islas, San Román, Paparatto, Blengio, Oliva, Blanco, Castaño, Gimenez, Villegas, Lazzaro and Luna.
Tigre's goal : Gimenez (a freekick).
The substitutes played their own game, which was won by Boca by 1-0.
The lineups were the following:
Boca: Migliore, Roncaglia, Krupoviesa, Maidana, González, Forlin, Mouche, Cardozo, Viatri, Gracián and Gaitan.
Boca's goal: Vitari (a header)
Tigre: Ardente, Leyes, Cabral, Jerez, Pasini, Fontanello, Attadia, Oviedo, Altobelli, Espinoza and Rusculleda

- Lunes: at Casa Amarilla at 4 pm.
It should be remembered that Boca Juniors will make its Apertura tournament debut against Gimnasia de Jujuy on Sunday August 10 at 4.20 pm.
