The first team, with Palacio, was defeated 4-1 by the reserves in a 50-minute match without breaks held at Casa Amarilla.

The eleven men who, in all likelihood, will start in the first match of the season are: Mauricio Caranta; Hugo Ibarra, Julio Cáceres, Gabriel Paletta, Claudio Morel Rodríguez; Fabián Vargas, Sebastián Battaglia, Jesús Dátolo; Cristian Chávez, Rodrigo Palacio and Martín Palermo.
The reserves in the intrasquad match were: Pablo Migliore; Jonatan Maidana, Facundo Roncaglia, Juan Forlín, Juan Angel Krupoviesa; Neri Cardozo, Alvaro González, Damián Díaz; Leandro Gracián; Lucas Castromán and Lucas Viatri.
Boca Juniors takes on Gimnasia from Jujuy at La Bombonera in the first weekend of the Opening Tournament this Sunday. The match starts at 4.20pm and will be refereed by Juan Pablo Pompei.
