  Judo

The originator of this practice, master Jigoro Kano, was born in 1860.

In Tokio , Japan , in 1882, he developed Judo, adopting techniques from various types of Jiu Jitsu.

Judo came to Argentina in 1906, where the Argentine Naval School was the first place to practice it.

In those times many countries made it a part of the training of their armed forces.

At Boca Juniors, numerous kids and adults take up this activity which enables them to learn and to become proficient in Judo, qualifying for belts of different colors, according to the level they have achieved.
